Our Story

Hilde Didi Bjørnerud was born and raised in Norway and spent her
childhood on her grandparent’s farm, situated at the heart of the woods,
nurturing an early love for mythical creatures and weird and wonderful
nature.

After her studies and BA in textile design from Central St Martins, in London
she spent time working in several high-end ateliers such as Alexander McQueen,
learning techniques required to branch out alone.

BJORNE of Norway was born in 2015 and has since grown organically with
customers all over the globe. Also featured under London Fashion Week in
2018.

Since launch she has introduced a new creative to her team, consisting of
nature photographer Ragnhild Elnæs. Together they work in harmony
interpreting their own wild and wonderful art photography into textile
masterpieces.
